Job Title: Sales Account Executive - Public Safety SaaS

Location:

  • West Coast Rep: Must reside in California or a bordering state
  • Central Rep: Must reside in the Midwest or Mountain time zones

Position Overview:
As a Sales Account Executive, you’ll play a critical role in expanding our customer base and building strong relationships with 9-1-1 centers across your designated region. You’ll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, engaging decision makers, conducting solution-based sales demonstrations, and managing accounts to ensure ongoing client satisfaction. With the ability to pick up the phone and engage a 9-1-1 director on our solutions, you’ll be skilled at understanding their challenges and conveying how our technology can meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive growth by identifying, reaching out to, and securing meetings with 9-1-1 key stakeholders.
  • Conduct effective, compelling sales demonstrations that highlight the value and mission-driven nature of our solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with current and future clients.
  • Actively manage prospect deals to ensure high levels of satisfaction, engagement, and contract capture.
  • Be a brand ambassador, able to restate and reinforce the unique needs and missions of our 9-1-1 customers.
  • Contribute to strategic sales and marketing initiatives, wearing multiple hats as needed to support our startup growth.
  • Travel as required within your territory (approximately 20%).

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of sales experience in any capacity (e.g., Account Management, Business Development, Sales Demonstrations, or as a BDR).
  • Knowledge of the emergency communications  and 9-1-1 technology space.
  • Proven ability to engage and secure meetings with senior stakeholders, such as 9-1-1 center directors, and to communicate effectively about complex solutions.
  • Passionate about supporting the mission of 9-1-1 centers and improving public safety.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a startup environment where each team member wears many hats.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must reside in California or a bordering state (for the West Coast position) or in the Midwest/Mountain time zones (for the Central position).

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience selling technology solutions in the public safety, emergency communications, or government sectors.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales pipeline management.
  • Proven ability to listen actively, restate client needs accurately, and match solutions to those needs.
